The “male model/over-the-top narcissist” gimmick is something that almost always works in pro wrestling. Take a male wrestler, give him a gimmick where he loves to flaunt how attractive he feels he is, and it pisses male fans off, especially when there are female fans who think the wrestler is every bit as attractive as he portrays himself to be.

 Tyler Breeze is the latest in a long line of wrestlers to have a similar gimmick, and it’s working for him in NXT.
