In the wake of moving on from Memorial High School,mendez worked a few employments keeping in mind the end goal to set aside the cash she required to both help her family and select in wrestling school.she went to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she majored in film and TV generation and writing,until family and budgetary issues prompted her dropping out six months into her studies.as a tribute to her sibling, who was in the U.s. Armed force, Mendez once wore disguise wrestling clothing.
