This PPV was truly around two matches: the Hardcore match between Randy Orton and Mick Foley, and the WrestleMania rematch between Chris Benoit, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels, charged as 'the Final Encounter.' 

The bad-to-the-bone match was a standout amongst the most merciless and vicious in late memory, and the WrestleMania rematch was a specialized gem; as it were, a win-win for all intents and purposes everybody.
