The Macho Man had left on the grounds that WCW had offered him the opportunity to wrestle and acquire better cash…  however by 1996 an alternate story had developed and Vince has kept up an atomic quiet on Savage after.

The backstage gossip is that a 40 year old Savage occupied with a sexual association with 17 year old Stephanie in late 1993. Nobody from the business has approached to affirm this, however the conviction is it did happen. "All I know is that inside the organization the extent that the top individuals, they all trust it, and no one knows beyond any doubt, in light of the fact that its never raised." the insider master Dave Meltzer expresses.
