It was one of the best and most renowned ladies' storylines ever as Mickie James began in WWE in late 2005 as a fixated fanatic of Trish Stratus that inevitably went insane and turned on her prompting an epic confrontation at Wrestlemania 22 in 2006 that Mickie won.

A long time later, Mickie uncovered in talks with that it was really Lita that the story was intended for. Mickie thought of the storyline considering Lita in light of the fact that she knew her from when she was heading up in the business and Lita would go to shows. They were great companions while Mickie didn't know Trish that well preceding their edge beginning.
